Safari Itinerary
Morning: Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Lake Naivasha, located in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive around mid-morning and check in to your lodge.
Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Look out for hippos in the water and various bird species, including fish eagles, herons, and pelicans.
Optional Activity: Visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and other herbivores.
Dinner and Overnight: Stay at a lodge or camp by the shores of Lake Naivasha.
Morning: After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your chosen lodge or camp.
Afternoon: After settling in, head out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Explore the diverse habitats, including riverine forests, acacia woodlands, and expansive savannahs, in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos.
Dinner and Overnight: Stay at a lodge or camp in the Masai Mara.
Morning and Afternoon: Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the rich wildlife, including cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species.
Optional Activity: Consider a visit to a Maasai village to learn about the Maasai culture and traditions, or opt for a hot air balloon safari over the Mara plains at sunrise for a unique perspective of the wildlife below.
Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve or return to the lodge/camp for a hot meal.
Dinner and Overnight: Return to your lodge or camp in the Masai Mara.
Morning: Early morning game drive to catch the predators before they retreat for the day. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Late Morning: After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi, enjoying scenic views along the way.
Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
