Safari Itinerary
Early Morning:
- 5:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa and start the journey to Tsavo East National Park (approx. 2.5-hour drive).
- 7:30 AM: Arrive at Tsavo East National Park’s Bachuma Gate.
- Begin your morning game drive in Tsavo East, known for its red elephants, the Mane-less lions of Tsavo, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and an array of birdlife.
Mid-Morning:
- Continue exploring the park, visiting key attractions such as the Aruba Dam, a popular watering hole for wildlife.
- Drive through the vast savannah, passing the Yatta Plateau – the world’s longest lava flow.
Late Morning:
- 11:00 AM: Break for a mid-morning rest and refreshments at a picnic site or a lodge within the park.
Noon:
- 12:00 PM: Continue with a game drive, searching for more wildlife and enjoying the stunning scenery of the park.
- Head over to one of the lodges inside the park for lunch
Afternoon:
- 2:00 PM: Depart Tsavo East National Park and begin the journey back to Mombasa.
